2011 "Kick Some Grass" Competitive Tournament   The 2011 tournament was held on August 26-28.   Thanks to all the teams that participated and to everyone that helped make this tournament a great success! The Hartford United S.C. U-12 Boys Black team took 2nd place at the Coon Rapids, Minnesota Invitational Tournament held May 20th-22nd. The team requested the top bracket earning the right to be tested against some of the best clubs in the metro Minneapolis area. Not only was the competition great on the soccer field but the players all had a blast swimming and enjoying their time bonding together as a team throughout the weekend.

The Hartford United S.C. U-17 Girls team (U-18 for fall, 2011) has mapped out a busy upcoming season and will be attending these tournaments:

• July 28-29 - College Search Kickoff in Muscatine, Iowa
• July 30-31 - Prospects 2011 in Schaumburg, IL

• November 8-9 - Girls Fall Classic & College Showcase in St. Louis

The purpose of the HSC Academy is to provide additional training opportunities for individual HSC recreational players who seek more chances to play soccer. These training opportunities will offer a higher level of coaching than what our recreational soccer program is designed to provide. The goal is to maximize skill development in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere.

• On-line registration for the 2011-12 season is now open.

• All players in the recreational leagues will need to register online by June 30, 2011.
• Players trying out for Hartford United S.C. (Select) teams will register at tryouts.
• Mandatory Information Meeting for new families and for current players who have not yet given proof of age: Thursday, May 19, 2011 from 7-8 PM at the Independence Park shelter. An alternate date is August 18, 7PM at the Independence Park shelter. Please bring your child’s birth certificate to this meeting to prove age. We will not make copies or keep the certificate. Proof of age is a requirement of the Kettle Moraine Soccer League for insurance purposes. If we do not have proof of age, your child will not be able to play.
